We are hiring for both part time and full time Cashier

Bilingual preferred but not required (English/Vietnamese)

Hours and Shifts are available starting at 10AM to 8PM, 7 days a week.

Responsibilities:

You will have to ensure that customers receive the right order and that their requests are communicated directly to the grill team.

  • In the position of Carrot and Daikon’s cashier, your primary responsibility will be taking customers’ orders and bagging food.
  • Kneel, bend, twist or stoop to obtain products
  • Reach and grasp objects (including above head and below waistline)

Job Title: Kitchen Staff Member / Prep cook

Carrot & Daikon Banh Mi is looking to hire for the following positions:

Kitchen Helpers / Kitchen Staffs

We are hiring for both part time and full time Kitchen Staff / Prep Cook. Experience working in the kitchen is preferred

Vietnamese Pho Noodle Soup cooking/prepping experience preferred

Hours and Shifts are available starting at 9AM to 7PM, 7 days a week.

Responsibilities:

Preparing ingredients, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and measuring out spices and seasonings.

Operating cooking equipment, including grills, ovens, and stovetops, to cook and prepare dishes to the required standard.

Following recipes and food preparation instructions provided by the company to ensure consistency and quality.

Ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards and are ready to be served on time.

Collaborating with other kitchen staff to coordinate timing and ensure that all dishes are served correctly

Adhering to all food safety regulations and standards to ensure that all dishes are prepared safely and hygienically.

Assisting with cleaning duties, including ensuring that all work surfaces and equipment are clean and well-maintained.

Assists in preparing ingredients for the dishes to be served

Chops and peels vegetables, fruits, and meats as necessary

Measures and weighs ingredients to ensure accuracy in recipes

Prepares sauces, marinades, and dressings

Cleans and sanitizes work areas and equipment, including knives and cutting boards

Ensures that all ingredients are properly stored to maintain freshness and quality

Assists other kitchen staff as needed

Follows food safety regulations and procedures to prevent contamination and foodborne illnesses

Works in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet deadlines

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Vietnamese (preferred, not required)
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Kitchen Helper – Experience in restaurant kitchen operations KS preferred
  • Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor
  • Bilingual proficiency (Vietnamese/English or Spanish/English)
  • Familiar with kitchen operations
